The Girl That Got Out
Helping survivors of trauma rebuild their lives with clarity, strength, and purpose—through guided sessions, educational resources, and transformative programs that turn pain into power.
For the ones who lived through what others couldn’t imagine—
and are still trying to make sense of it—
you deserve a space where nothing has to be hidden anymore.
“By sharing her story, RJ inspires others to ‘get out’ - to escape the invisible chains of trauma - and step into a life defined not by what happened to them, but by their ability to heal and thrive. This is an essential guide for survivors looking for hope, validation, and actionable steps to reclaim their lives.”
Natalie Myers
“Simply being a survivor is honorable in itself. But Fisher’s work goes on to become a light in that darkness. She brings vision that can only be gained by somebody who has personally walked in those shoes.”
Robert C. French, MA
I help survivors of severe trauma—especially those impacted by domestic violence, betrayal, and life-threatening experiences—process what they’ve been through and begin rebuilding their lives with clarity, strength, and direction.
My work is grounded in both lived experience and a background in criminal justice, allowing me to support you with a deep understanding of the emotional and real-world challenges survivors face. Whether you’re navigating confusion, fear, or survivor’s guilt, I provide a safe, judgment-free space where your story can be heard and understood.
Through talking sessions, I help you make sense of your experiences and begin reclaiming your voice. Beyond one-on-one support, I offer books, a trauma-informed blog, and public speaking that educates, empowers, and brings awareness to the realities of survival and healing. I also connect survivors to community resources, helping you find the support systems you need outside of our sessions.
This isn’t just about getting through what happened—it’s about helping you take your power back and move forward with intention.
You don’t have to do this alone.
Do you ever look in the mirror and think how your life could be different?
Do you ever feel stuck in where you’re at? Finances? Relationships? Brokenness? Emptiness?
You know where you want to go.
You know what you want to achieve.
You just don’t know how to get started.
The person that stares back at you through those eyes is demanding a chance to rise up.
Here you will find resources to help you get on your feet and create the life that you want. Give yourself that chance.
